Intranet DASHBOARD Wins "Best Web-Based Application" in prestigious Australian Personal Computer Magazine Internet Technology Awards 2007

MELBOURNE, Australia and DALLAS, Texas: March 23rd, 2007 – Intranet DASHBOARD, an Intranet Journal Award 2007 winner, and an eContent top 100 company, is now the category winner for the “Best Web-Based Application” in the prestigious Australian Personal Computer (APC) magazine Internet Technology Awards 2007 announced at a gala industry function in Sydney, Australia this week.

APC is considered one of Australia’s most influential computer magazine and the choice monthly magazine for ‘power users’ and IT professionals, with a readership of 193,000.

Tony Sarno, APC Editor said: “We congratulate Intranet DASHBOARD as the category winner for “Best Web-based application” . Intranet DASHBOARD is an intranet management solution that beat extremely strong competition from some of the leading international names in tech. It was only late in the nominations process that we discovered they were an Australian company and were doubly pleased at their success in the final vote.”

Intranet DASHBOARD's success is reflected in the number and size of their customers, which include companies such as Shell. Their software is elegant and supports a massive number of business tools designed to enhance any company's internal corporate communications and productivity. Plus it's one solution from one vendor, a key fact that will resonate well with IT departments and CFOs universally,” said Sarno.

Intranet DASHBOARD offers a sophisticated suite of smart intranet applications to enhance, empower, and increase the efficiency of large organizations by giving appropriate access to all company documentations across sites and departments in a community friendly online space. It is the software powering the largest single application corporate intranet in the world to date with 130,000 users worldwide.

According to APC magazine: “The APC Internet Technology Awards are for the innovative products and solutions most responsible for advancing the development and uptake of the Internet and IP technologies over the past year.”

The Awards are chosen by APC readers, who comprise one of Australia’s largest single groups of technical/professional experts and power users.

“In making their nominations over the period December 06 to end of February this year, APC readers took into account technological innovation, market impact and relevance of the products to the Internet’s development, delivery or security, “ according to the magazine.

Campbell Dobbin, Intranet DASHBOARD president and CEO, said the company was not only winning awards for its powerful intranet technology solution, but 2007 kicked off with a run of high profile deal wins including St George Bank, Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, Repco, and the University of Technology, Sydney.

“Our customers from the large global firms through to SMEs say they are attracted to the iD product because it is ONE product, and ONE solution from ONE company, rather than a multi-vendor solution which inherently brings an added level of complexity to corporate intranet roll-out,” said Dobbin.
