Intranet DASHBOARD Announces Release 2.1
Dallas, Texas and Melbourne, Australia - November 7, 2007 – International award-winning intranet software company Intranet DASHBOARD, today introduced release 2.1, adding additional functionality to its suite of over 40 in-built tools and applications. Intranet DASHBOARD is an all-in-one intranet solution enhancing organizations' collaboration and communications across the enterprise to increase productivity. The latest release was introduced today at the KMWorld & Intranets 2007 Conference and Exposition.
Intranet DASHBOARD now features an enhanced navigation interface featuring horizontal navigation for improved usability. This enables organizations to further customize their installation and provide additional formatting and style options. With Intranet DASHBOARD 2.1 external single sign-on is now offered further enhancing the integration between the intranet and other external applications. With this new functionality users only need sign-on once to securely access and move from the intranet to other applications and vice versa.
Other tools to Intranet DASHBOARD have also been upgraded, with highlights including the following:
- MS Outlook web access through iFrame integration enabling users to view their calendars, inbox and for better diary management within the intranet user interface.
- External applications can now be imported to the content publisher such as YouTube videos further enhancing content options.
